I am a mother, a grandmother and a contemporary realist painter currently living in Montana. I was encouraged to be an artist when I was younger due to some sad events in my life. Through this experience I started to learn and understand how much of an impact being an artist and the art world in general could have on a person if given a chance. Later, I wanted to be a seascape painter and went to school where I received my Associates in Fine Art/Humanities (2007) and have been able to continue my artistic education through books, the internet and personal experiences. Today I do not just paint the ocean but I paint anything that inspires me. Through my artwork, I want to encourage happy thoughts, happy memories and positive perspectives in order to stimulate a happy heart within my viewer whether it be from a nature scene to something as simple as a favorite coffee cup. - Frankie Stockman 2021

Some Recipes I got from 6 year olds for mothers day!

My 6 year old gave me a cook book for mother's day. It was full of all the other children's, plus his, recipes for their favourite foods. This is my son's =

Oatmill. By Xander.
You get the bucket of oatmeal. Get some water and put it in a pot. Let it boil for 7 minutes. Put the oatmeal in the pot. Then you stir it for 8 seconds. Then you eat it! Put some brown sugar on it.

I thought that was so cute!

I loved this one too!

Dinosaur Cookies by Kenley

First you mix the dough. Then you put some flour on it. You cut the shape of a dinosaur. You put them in the oven for I think 3 min. Once they are done baking you ice them with blue or green icing. You can have one if you make them at night or you can have 2 if you make them in the morning.

Hot Dogs By Christian

Get the bread out. Get the meat out. Cook the meat. Put it on the hot dog bun. Put the ketshup and mustard on it. Then it's time to eat!

Chocolate Chip Cookies by Sydney

They are frozen and they are round. Put them on a pan. Put them in the oven. You cook them. you get them out. Let them cool and then put them on a plate.

I thought it was funny on some of these and the children's perception of time. I was thinking they would say that everything took hours and hours! You know when you were young you had no patients so everything seemed to take hours instead of min. But they didn't. I love the little book and I will keep it forever!

That is the thing that I really look forward to is the stuff the kids bring me from school. I love them. Last year Xander brought me a baby food bottle full of baby lotion. He decorated the lid. He was SO happy and proud. I loved it. :) Haven brought me home some magnets that she made. They are actually super cute and I love them.

I like the "one if by night, two if by morning" rule. Makes no sense but it's cute.

I loved that one too. I assume its because her parents only let her have one cookie at night and two in the day. I laughed really hard when I read that. Dean. I hope you are feeling better. I read your blog tonight and left you a message. HUGE HUGS. I am bummed out man!
